Persian Cat Watercolor Painting

This new watercolor goes along with the theme of my owl expressions painting that I posted last week.

I think the Persian cats are so cute, and it was a lost of fun to paint the range of expressions on each one.

Kitten

This past week we took a trip from Florida back to Texas to be in our sister's wedding. It was a lot of fun and really good to see the family again, since we have not seen them since January when we moved.

We got home this past Sunday, and then on Monday night I was going about my nightly routine when I heard something. It was a cat meowing outside our house...but not the typical cat fight noises one normally hears at night...this one sounded like it was crying...

So I walked out our front door to inspect...

And here is the result -

A Few Fun Christmas Ornaments

I have decided to start making a collection of Christmas Ornaments for 2013.

It will mostly feature various animals wearing cute little elf costumes. They are

all hand sewn with felt, and some have hand painted faces made with upcycled

khaki fabric. I am currently working on a Barn Owl elf, which will hopefully

make it's debut in my Etsy shop this week!  :)
